Layered Chainmaille Bracelet

I made this bracelet the other night. My girlfriend was asking about if I could make it after seeing it in the August 2011 Bead & Button magazine, so I gave it a whirl. It is a pattern from Anne E. Mitchell. It is a basic 2x2 chain with 12mm rings added.

Romanov Byzantine Bracelet

This is my version and my first attempt with this style of chainmaille. Not sure I will attempt it again any time soon. The crystals for this are representing birthstones to make up a Family Bracelet.

I was looking for something the other day and came across this bracelet made by Cablato Juwlz.

I was pleased with the way it turned out, not sure if I did it correctly but this is my version anyhow...

you start with a 2-2 chain and then build from there....it took me about two hours but I did enjoy myself, I found it a relaxing project......the beads are adventurine and the rings are 4 and 6 mm

I just can't help it. I tried something new again.........
I tried to figure out Byzantine style chainmaille with no luck, but...
