Feeling Blue Today

Blue is a colour I don't work with alot but I'm on a blue kick lately.

The pendant is to match a summery top I have, I wanted something simple but with a little colour. The base is Coral and I added, Sodalite, Quarts, Lapiz Lazuli, and Aquamarine to the wire.

Hoop earrings with a flat Dyed Imperial Jasper bead.

Teardrop earrings with a little Howlite and Tiger's eye accents.

Recycled Bullet Casing Jewellery

yes I said bullets.....my new addiction is making things with bullet casings.....and yes my husband thought I'd lost my mind yet again when I asked him to save me some casings.....

the brass casings are 22's and the grey one is from a Russian rifle. I have to wait until the nicer weather for now to get more, but I do have some 22's left to play with for now.

The bracelet is my take on one Laurel did awhile back and she shared her instructions with me, thank you Laurel...I used the casings for end caps.

Butterfly Pendant

Just a simple necklace, two pendants turned into one. I added the brass beads to the butterfly charm and glued it to a stone pendant I had. Easy and simple.

Collage Pendant

This has to be my favourite piece so far. I was trying to figure out what to make for the next necklace swap. The base is stone and I used glass amber and green coloured beads and blue swarovski crystals in this piece. I'm keeping this piece and have worn it several time so far. So better get back to thinking of what to do for the swap.

Cluster Pendants

I took a class at a local bead shop and fell in love with making these pendants. Super easy once I got the hang of it.

This is the one I did in class. Amber glass beads and Tigereye were used.

and I went home that night and made this one with Black Onxy and siver hi-lites.
