Vintage Christmas Cards

This is the card I did with my kit I gave the two girls at work that I swap kits with.

I used old Daisy D papers from my stash and a vintage ATC image.
I did a 'joy-fold' for the front of the card and it still opens like a regular card.

Design Team Card for July 1st

This is the card I did with this months sketch for Just My Sketches and I'm sad to say this will be the last sketch I do. Deanne is not going to continue on with the month sketches on her blog. I've had fun and will miss taking part each month.

Here is a card I did from a kit given to me by a girl at work, I think the paper was Graphic 45 "Fashionista Collection" - En Vogue. I loved it and had fun playing with the feather for the hat.

Blue Butterflies

I made this card today with some paper Carla sent me, I was admiring it on one of her cards and she sent me some scraps to play with. The paper is Fiskars - Kimberly Poloson. I hand cut the butterflies and 'popped' them a bit, and the small butterflies are flocked. Thank you for sharing Carla, I love this paper :)

Vintage Christmas

This is a card I did with Laurie (she will get the same papers I used here to make her own without seeing my card first), we work together and started doing card kit exchanges. She's never done them before and I think I've got her addicted :)

I used Cosmo Cricket papers and a vintage image from an ATC collection.

Design Team Card September 16th

The Christmas Card is the one I sent Deanne for my Design Team Card, which is on her blog Just My Sketches



I dug out some eyelets, used Cosmo Cricket paper and a rusted metal snowflake charm.





The second card I did for fun with the same sketch was done with K&Co. paper. I turned the sketch on the side to give it another look.

Vintage Flair.....

This is the card I did for a challenge card exchange I run
and the theme for this month was to use Feathers, Felt or Foam. I chose feathers.




















I've had this peacock feather for awhile and was dying to use it on something. I found it hard to part with, but its postal now :)
















I used chalk pencils to add a touch of colour to the image
and Ranger Distressing Inks, love my distressing inks. :)

All Natural Beauty

It's been a busy weekend but I did manage to fiddle with a challenge card I wanted to do.



This card was for 'an all girl' card challenge at Lil' Scrappers. We needed to use glitter, bling, and blossoms.
