I was totally surprised but love it and will love it more once I figure out all the bells and whistles.
I was using a Canon Power Shot Point-Shoot which I was very happy with. So I asked him why, he said that he's noticed I've been taking alot of pictures so thought I'd like a good camera, even when I take photos of his bacon before he gets to eat it :)
Tonight I took some photos of jewellery that were just laying on my table. The lighting was poor but I was pleased with the outcome. I've never taken photos like this before. The colours came out and even the textures. So beware, I'm going to be snapping shots of everything now :)
